ICAP and CSIS

ICAP, the ICAP ALUMNI ASSOCIATION https://www.icapaa.org and the Center for Strategic and International Studies https://www.CSIS.org have collaborated on a number of projects examining the relationships between diversity and national security and highlighting the new and more diverse voices now enriching discussions of national security and international affairs.  Among other projects, an important report for ICAP and CSIS, titled Leveraging Diversity for Global Leadership, was prepared in May 2018 by Ambassador Deborah McCarthy (ICAP Senior Mentor), Dr. Sandra Rivera (ICAP 1998) and others.

See https://www.csis.org/analysis/leveraging-diversity-global-leadership.   ICAP/CSIS joint programs included a June 2017 session on South Sudan with a number of ICAP alumni---Travis Adkins (ICAP 2007), Linda Etim (ICAP 2006), Ashley Quarcoo (ICAP 2012) and Steven Vigil (ICAP 2010).
